The GSCVB Hospitality/Ambassador Program is here to help you! We want to help your guests have a great visit because; the overall positive experience helps to retain business!
The friendly Ambassadors can help with:
"Welcome" Your Guests to the Pioneer Valley, Meet and Greet
Greeting and welcoming your guests, staffing an information table, making dinner reservations, stuffing registration materials, assistance with registration and more!
"Welcome" Packs
The Greater Springfield Convention & Visitor Bureau (GSCVB) can provide your group with the Guide to Massachusetts' Pioneer Valley (the official visitors' guide to the region); individual attraction/hotel/restaurant brochures; coupons & discounts (based on availability); area maps; and the bags to put it all together.
Welcome Signs
We print Welcome Signs and distribute them to area merchants so they can put them in their windows or hang in their establishments. The guests appreciate this and it adds a nice touch.

Does this person enjoy attending special events and conventions, being in the know of what is new and taking place in the Pioneer Valley, learning what makes our region so special (history), working with people, networking with people of all kinds and more!
If you find yourself saying yes or someone you know, then you would be perfect to volunteer as a Greater Springfield Convention Bureau Ambassador (GSCVB). This unique GSCVB Hospitality Program is so important in ensuring that visitors enjoy their stay when in the Pioneer Valley.
Whether the Ambassadors are welcoming visitors, directing attendees to a show or meeting, making dinner reservations, handing out the Guide to Massachusetts' Pioneer Valley (the official visitors' guide to the region) or distributing welcome signs; these all make the visitors experience in the Pioneer Valley a memorable one.
There are currently over 30 Ambassadors that donate their time but because there is so much going on we need more great people to help make the Pioneer Valley shine! This program is flexible and does not require a certain amount of hours just whatever time you can give.
