Experiencing the Civil War: From the Battlefield to the Home Front, opening July 6 at the Joseph Allen Skinner Museum, Mount Holyoke College, examines the lives of soldiers on the battlefield, women managing the home front, and the role of communication in bridging these two disparate arenas. The exhibition continues through the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War in 2015.
