Old Sturbridge Village Presents Christmas by Candlelight
Christmas by Candlelight at Old Sturbridge Village is an evening filled with New England holiday traditions, live musical performances, storytelling, sleigh rides, festive foods, a roaring bonfire, and strolls around the decorated Village Common. Be sure to visit North Pole Village where families will find Santa and his whimsical elves, Mrs. Claus’ Bake Shop, a magical talking Christmas tree, and an expanded train display. And do not miss the nightly tree lighting and the ever-popular gingerbread house contest!
Old Sturbridge Village is one of the largest living history museums in the nation, celebrating life in early New England from 1790 – 1840. Located just off the Massachusetts Turnpike and Routes I-84 and 20 in Sturbridge, Mass., OSV is open year-round, but days and hours vary seasonally. The Village offers visitors lodging at the Old Sturbridge Inn and Reeder Family Lodges and several dining options on-site. Admission includes free parking and a free second-day visit within 10 days.
