This year's series will kick off May 1 and run nightly through Sept. 3, then Thursdays through Sundays from Sept. 7 to Oct. 1. There is no cover charge for these shows and the music runs 6-10 p.m. All shows are weather permitting.

Springfield Museums Exhibit: Chagall for Children

The traveling exhibit created by the Kohl Children’s Museum features reproductions of over a dozen masterpieces by the modern artist Marc Chagall (1887-1985) accompanied by audio recordings and hands-on interactive elements. These imaginative activities are as varied as Chagall’s works. From June 27th to September 17th.

Exhibit: "They Risked Their Lives - Poles who saved Jews during the Holocaust" To provide an opportunity for people to learn about these courageous individuals, The Polish Center of Discovery and Learning is hosting a traveling exhibit through Aug. 4 about Polish rescuers during World War II collected from testimonies by the State of Israel Righteous Among Nations honorific. It consists of photographic storyboards on individuals (both living and dead) who faced challenges and dangers to help their fellow human beings.

From pollination to producing wax and honey, bees have been important in Deerfield from colonial times right up to the present. Our bee related activities will be fun for everyone. Join us for wax candle making, honey tasting, creating a honey bee art project and planting pollinator friendly flower seeds.

All summer long CTM will hold many activities including, Trolley Rides: Take as many trolley rides as you would like operated by period dressed motormen. Crafting Station– Make a Motorman Hat or Create your own trolley fare ticket. Take your new creations home with you for future use. Dress-up Station- Dress up as a Motorman or Conductor! Great Photo op! Fantastic Fridays starting with Christmas in July on the 7th and ending with Super Hero & Princess Day August 25. Plus Fire Truck Museum- View over 15 Fire Trucks dating back to 1923.
