GSCVB Ambassadors
What is the Ambassador Program? The Greater Springfield Convention & Visitor Bureau (GSCVB) Hospitality/Ambassador Program is here to help you, our members! We want to help your guests have a great visit because the overall positive experience helps to retain business in the Pioneer Valley!
Ambassadors can assist with:
- Welcoming groups to the Pioneer Valley
- Greeting and welcoming your guests, staffing an information table, making dinner reservations, stuffing registration materials and assistance with registration.
The GSCVB can provide your group with the Guide to Massachusetts' Pioneer Valley (the official visitor guide to the region), individual attraction/hotel/restaurant brochures, coupons & discounts (based on availability), area maps and the bags to put it all together!
Welcome Signs
The GSCVB prints welcome signs for distribution to area merchants for display in store windows or other high visibility locations.
If you are interested in improving your group's experience, contact Taryn Siciliano at (413) 755-1370 or via email at taryn@valleyvisitor.com. Please allow adequate notice.
What makes a great Ambassador?
The Ambassadors are always recruiting and welcome new volunteers! There are currently over 30 Ambassadors that donate their time, although there is so much going on and we need more people to help make the Pioneer Valley shine! Our Ambassadors can choose to volunteer as much, or as little as their own individual schedules permit. Qualities that make a great Ambassador are friendliness, the desire to work with new people, and a social and outgoing personality.
If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador or know someone who likes to help out while meeting new faces, contact Taryn Siciliano at (413) 755-1370 or via email at taryn@valleyvisitor.com for more information.
