A major teaching hospital, the western campus of Tufts University School of Medicine, Baystate Medical Center is the area's only Level 1 trauma center and has the area\'s only pediatric and neonatal intensive care units. In 2008 Baystate was again named one of America's best hospitals by US News and World Report.
