Crab Apple Whitewater is New England's largest whitewater rafting outfitter. Family owned and operated since 1983, we run raft trips in western Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont. In western Massachusetts we offer five different raft adventures and an inflatable kayak or "funyak" trip. Our family guarantees the finest service with a personal touch. Family members are involved in every trip and our guides are excellent - friendly, fun and professional. Meals and snacks on our trips are prepared fresh daily and leave the hungriest paddler satisfied. Our equipment is state-of-the-art with all self-bailing rafts and kayaks, comfortable and clean lifejackets, helmets and wetsuits. Our base camp sits along 1,000 feet of the Deerfield River in Charlemont. Our base is sandwiched between the river and the historic Mohawk Trail.
