The GSCVB has assembled a group of “host restaurants” for the MAAC tournament which will be decked out in basketball décor to welcome teams and fans while promoting the event to locals looking for an exciting weekend of Division I College Basketball. MAAC-designated restaurants include:
· Adolfo’s Ristorante
· Max’s Tavern
· Nadim’s Downtown Mediterranean Grille
· Sheraton Springfield Picks Restaurant/MVP Pub

According to GSCVB President Mary Kay Wydra, “The MAAC and its attendees always bring a terrific level of energy and enthusiasm to the region, and we look forward to welcoming them once again. Our pre-con pep rally brings everyone together to learn about the event itinerary, the crowds and all other details so we can all provide the best possible service. The ‘host restaurants,’ which include many of Springfield’s landmark restaurants, will be a great gathering place for MAAC players, officials and guests.”
