GSCVB Annual Meeting Features Samuel Adams Brewer Jim Koch

Tourism professionals from the Pioneer Valley gathered at the 26th Annual Meeting of the Greater Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau (GSCVB) held Monday night at The Delaney House in Holyoke, MA.  More than 130 guests attended the business meeting, which was followed by a special presentation by Jim Koch, brewer of Samuel Adams beers and founder of the Boston Beer Company.

GSCVB To Hold Annual Meeting Featuring Guest Speaker Jim Koch of The Boston Beer Company

The Greater Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau (GSCVB) will hold its annual meeting on Monday, November 14 at 4:00 p.m. at The Delaney House in Holyoke. Immediately following the meeting, which will recap the Bureau’s efforts in fiscal year 2011 and will officially announce the appointment of members of the Board of Directors, the Bureau will introduce Guest Speaker Jim Koch, founder and brewer of Samuel Adams® beers.

GSCVB Nominee Bright Nights Designated Top Destination By American Bus Association

Bright Nights at Forest Park in Springfield, Massachusetts has been named one of the 2012 Top 100 Events in North America by the American Bus Association (ABA), which also designated The Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts as an Internationally Known Annual Event (IKE).

GSCVB Holds Annual Meeting & 25th Anniversary Celebration

Five Pioneer Valley businesses and organizations have been named recipients of Greater Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau (GSCVB) tourism mini-grants totaling $15,000. Grant funds will be used for a variety of projects including web site, direct mail and print advertising and marketing.
